Learn to Skate Cincinnati, a sanctioned member of United States Figure Skating, offers a variety of programming. Classes for all ages and abilities are offered in recreational skating, competitive figure skating, and beginning skating for ice hockey. We use the Skate with US program designed by USFS to aid in learning and skating enjoyment. Come join the fun!
Learn to Skate Cincinnati was founded in 2002. Since then we have consistently ranked in the top 10 Learn to Skate Programs in the United States. We are proud to provide a highly trained, friendly and professional staff of coaches and assistants. We are independently owned and operated.

Registration begins February 10th!
We offer Free Beginner Lessons before the start of the current session. This is a great way to try ice skating and/or ice hockey to see if you will enjoy it. If you are interested in registering for a free lesson please click on the "Register" link to the right. The registration process will collect some information and then you can choose your class. As you register please fill in 00000’s for the credit card and 000 for the cvc code when asked for that information. If you are not sure which class is right for you click here. Please wear warm layered clothing, gloves or mittens and a bike helmet if your skater is 5 years old or younger.
Group Lessons Group Lessons
Learn to Skate Cincinnati offers a variety of programming. Classes for all ages and abilities are offered in recreational
and competitive skating as well as beginning skating for hockey. We use the Skate with US program designed by United States Figure Skating to aid in learning and skating enjoyment. Classes are generally taught in 7 week sessions. Beginner classes are 25 minutes in length and advanced classes (Basic 3 and above) are 50 minutes in length. The coaching staff is best trained in the area and the majority of the coaches are Professional Skating Instructors on a full-time basis and well as members of the Professional Skaters Association. Skate rental is available but do remember to wear warm layered clothing, gloves or mittens and a bike helmet if your skaters is age 5 or under. In addition to group lessons LTS Cincinnati offers week long skating camps, bridge programs, private lessons, competitions, a winter ice show and more. Come join the fun!!

Learn to Play Hockey
Hockey Learn to Play Hockey
This is a joint program with the Queen City Hockey Association (QCHA). In order to take class, players must have passed Hockey 1 or have good control skating forward, be able to stop and have started some backward skating. During each session basic stick handling, passing and shooting are covered as well as skating skills. The kids will play a scrimmage the last 10-15 minutes of class. Jersey’s are issued the 1st day of class and MUST be returned the final day of class. Full equipment is required. Class Structure will be 10 minute warm up, 45 minutes of instruction, and 20 minute scrimmage. Parents are encourage to assist on the ice and encouraged to after get their USA Hockey Level 1 certification for coaching. Ask for more details. Snowplow Sams Snowplow Sams
The Snowplow Sam levels are designed to help the preschool-age skater develop preliminary coordination and strength to maneuver on the ice. Snowplow Sam is a big, fuzzy polar bear who loves to skate. Time with Snowplow Sam will allow preschool children to become comfortable on the ice.

FreeSkates Basic 1 thru 8
The basic skills are the fundamentals of the sport. These eight levels of the program introduce the fundamental moves: forward skating, backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, turns and Mohawks. Upon completion of the Basic 1-8 levels, skaters will have a basic knowledge of the sport, enabling them to advance to more specialized areas of skating.
