Hockey 2, 3, 4 & 5—This is a joint program with
the Cincinnati Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA). In order to take class,
players must have passed Basic 2 / Hockey 1 or have good control skating
forward, be able to stop and have started some backward skating. During
each session basic stick handling, passing and shooting are covered as
well as skating skills. The kids will play a scrimmage the last 10-15
minutes of class. Jersey’s are issued the 1st day of class and MUST be
returned the final day of class. Full equipment is required. You can
rent equipment by contacting Valerie at 513-729-3129 or
vgadfrep@aol.com. Rental is $25 for the 1st session and $10 each
subsequent session. Class Structure will be 5 minute
warm up, 50 minutes of instruction, and 20 minute scrimmage. Parents are
encourage to assist after getting their USA Hockey Level 1 certification.
