This is a joint program with the Queen City Hockey Association (QCHA).
In order to take class, players must have passed Hockey 1 or have good
control skating forward, be able to stop and have started some backward
skating. During each session basic stick handling, passing and shooting are
covered as well as skating skills. The kids will play a scrimmage the last
10-15 minutes of class. Jersey’s are issued the 1st day of class and MUST be
returned the final day of class. Full equipment is required. You can rent
equipment by contacting Carl Robinson
crobinson@sportsplusohio.com. Rental requires ($100 dollar
deposit) and is $25 for the 1st session and $10 each subsequent session.
Or, discounted hockey equipment available for first time players. Class
Structure will be 10 minute warm up, 45 minutes of instruction, and 20
minute scrimmage. Parents are encourage to assist on the ice and encouraged
to after get their USA Hockey Level 1 certification for coaching. Ask for
